So that's me! The bride to be.... geeeeeez no matter how much I say it, it's still having trouble sinking in! It's all light, airy and floaty you see! ;)

I am a control freak about lots of things and needless to say when it comes to my wedding, I am only going to be more so. I get a high out of planning stuff and so this blog is an attempt to capture the experience of the next six months as we - me, my family and my friends - try to put together a wedding.

I hope to put together not just all the lovely stuff we are likely to find but also all the excitement, anxiety, nervousness and joy.

Wish us luck, drop us suggestions and hope you enjoy trawling through the stuff we are digging and the highs and lows of planning a wedding.

That's Kittykat a.k.a Ketaki Rituraj. We spent two years as hostel mates and bumchums @ MICA and then four more here in Mumbai, working for three years and then some more in the same company.

She's quite the cute little chipmunk, wiggles her nose adorably, is awesome with make up and loves shopping! And all of the above make her the near perfect person to be planning a wedding with and dragging along with you to do all your shopping.

Oh! Did I mention she also loves planning, making lists and can put her little foot down rather firmly when I get excessive.

That's Cindy a.k.a Cyn a.k.a Sinduja. She's the knowing one. She got married earlier this year - the first of my super close bunch of buddies to do so.

She's South Indian too so she'll give me tips on how to handle the whole wedding shingding, come up with absolute gems of wisdom in a single line (or sometimes a paragraph) and be the one that says "Oh! Nithya!" :D

She's someone I miss a lot now that she's moved away to the US and I am really looking forward to having her here for a couple of months this December so that we can shop, talk about relationships and drink endless cups of tea.



And last but not the least, that is my adorable little sister. She's gonna be doing a lot of this long distance because she lives closer up to the equator in Singapore.

She's the person who's always looking to make things perfect and fun and awesome for everyone else. She's also usually the person asking me to "Chill" and not get hyper!

She's also usually full of quirky ideas for things to do and never says no to a bit of adventure!
